We absolutely love weddings! I can't believe that I am able to capture the happiest moments in people's lives. We strive to document everything as it happens. Our style of photography throughout the Ceremony and Reception is considered to be photo-journalistic, as we like to be seen and then quickly forgotten by your guests and family members who are there to celebrate you. When you look at your pictures later, you will be able to quickly see the smiles, tears, and cheers as they actually happened.
We rarely ask people to strike a pose for us during the festivities of the day instead we like to capture those moments in time in their truest form. However, during the Wedding Party portraits, Bride/Groom portraits, and Family portraits we deftly and artfully direct people on how to look their best in every shot.

Weddings
There will always be a special place in our hearts for Elopements. There is something about a wedding getaway with your closest friends and family, to some secluded location hidden away from the rest of the world. The beauty of Elopements is that there are no limits as to where the ceremony can occur. Whether our couples choose to read their vows on the top of a mountain, have their first kiss in matrimony along the sandy beaches of the Lost Coast, or exchange rings deep in the Redwood Forest - we are there capturing every intimate and special moment.

What I love most about photography is that it allows me to meet such amazing people! We get to celebrate the happiest moments in their lives while taking pictures that they will treasure for many years to come.
We get to explore the surrounding areas, sometimes driving several hours to find that perfect spot. I think one of the things I love most about traveling with my clients is hearing them say, "I never even knew this place existed!" and then seeing them post pictures on their social media where they went up again to further explore the area.

Sean is the absolute best! We found him on Instagram and booked his Adventure Session for our engagement shoot in Yosemite in October 2020. Before our drive from San Francisco to Yosemite, Sean made sure we were well prepared for what to expect during our 2-day shoot, which included a sunset session at Taft Point as well as a sunrise at Glacier Point and morning session in the Yosemite Valley the next day. We had 2 phone calls before the shoot and Sean walked through the schedule and logistics with us in detail. He made sure to give us a list of what to bring, offered to send us pictures for outfit inspiration, and was even prepared with snacks in case we got hungry during our long shooting day.
For our sunrise session, Sean recommended that we all wake up early to be the first ones at Glacier Point since the park was a bit busier around that time of year. We knew he definitely did his research and it paid off because we had the best spot at Glacier Point all to ourselves for sunrise! Even though our Adventure Session was only supposed to consist of 6 hours total shooting time, we never felt rushed! On our way out of the park after our shoot, Sean even offered to pull over to the side of the road and take a couple extra photos of us with Cathedral Peak in the background because he saw the lighting was perfect.
He made us feel comfortable from the beginning and his ability to direct the shoot definitely reflected in how natural and candid our photo gallery turned out. Kudos to Sean for going above and beyond for us and huge shoutout to his wife, Molly, who did an amazing job editing the images! We personally love the overall aesthetic of their pictures and we were not disappointed with our decision to trust Sean and Molly with these pictures that we will treasure for a lifetime!

Let me start off by saying Sean Thomas Photography is seriously the BEST!!! I have had the pleasure of working with Sean a few times now, and I have been amazed each time by his talent! He is an incredible photographer.....INCREDIBLE! I recently did a shoot with him on the Oregon Coast and I was seriously blown away! His attention for detail ensures every part of the photo will be perfect, and he knows how to make anyone look amazing (which is huge cause I can look like a serious dork sometimes).
